I am sure most of my readers, already can guess regarding today’s topic : What to do when you are stuck!

Blocks in the flow of paper in an office aren’t always just a matter of logjams due to volume. This is what we called as writers block. Sometimes you already got the idea, and suddenly your thoughts are disconnected. And there is time, you dont know where to start or what to write. Ouh!

I am going to end up my 40 days challenge in two days! :) And for the past 38 days, I didnt face any restriction to write. What I mean - no writers block!

Well, somebody already ask me, how to maintain, how to keep wiriting, and how to avoid writers block. Well, I have no secret. This is what I do firstly.

I set it into my mind that : I got nothing to do with writers block. Its not part of me

and some more.

Well, today, I make few research on how to avoid writes block. Here it is :

Divide the projects into easy steps

You can take an intimidating assignment one step at a time. Start wherever you’re most comfortable. Often, once you have some ideas written, one will lead you to another, and you’ll soon have a whole draft to work with.

Freewrite

Freewriting takes time, but it is the easiest way to begin and leads to suprising and creative results. In this method, you find your idea by writing no plan. Just write nonstop for ten to twenty minuts. Ignore grammar, spelling, and organization. Followyour thought as they come. Dont stop!

Once you hit a blank place, write your last word over and over-you’ll soon have a new idea.

Then, mark the sentences that semm to contain your best thoughts. Make a lost of them and think further about ecah idea. :)

Well, there are more techniques that you can use, such as :

  1. Brainstorm : Make lits, Oulines, or Maps
  2. Do some research (like what I did!)
  3. Talk to a colleague
  4. Write a short draft first
  5. Use a tape recorder

So its up to you! Happy writing friends.
